RACIAL JUSTICE AT UCLA

In Spring 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 global pandemic and a national uprising catalyzed by the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police, UCLA faculty and administrative leadership of color joined together to call upon the UCLA Chancellor and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost to make firm commitments to supporting faculty and students of color. Demands include diversifying faculty at UCLA, expanding resources for students of color, and divesting in state, local, and UC police and security in order to invest in resources that will advance racial justice on campus and throughout the UCLA community.
