LFL Director
Under the supervision of the CSRC Director, the LFL Director is responsible for a broad range of supervisory, initiative design, and implementation of programmatic activities to ensure that the Lab meets its intended impact and project goals. The Latina Futures 2050 Lab aims to: Increase knowledge and insight through applied policy research on the contours of the economic, political, and social lives of Latinas in the U.S. over the next several decades; Provide a Latina lens to policy challenges and opportunities to inform a robust policy-making audience in and beyond California; Increase the power and influence of Latinas across important democratic institutions, from state capitols to the ivory tower and corporate boardrooms, to improve governance and advance gender inclusion; and Evolve the California Latino Legislative Caucus' Unseen Latinas Initiative and Assembly Select Committee on Latina Inequities through the 2050 Lab with a direct feedback loop to the State of California. The LFL Director will also perform ad hoc duties for the CSRC and LPPI in alignment with overall job responsibilities.
 
Target salary $140,000 based on skills, knowledge, and experience. This a contract position.

LFL Senior Development Officer (Hybrid)
This position will report to the LFL Director. Serving as the Senior Development Officer for UCLA Latina Futures under the Chicano Studies Research Center, you will plan and implement a strong, proactive major gift and fundraising strategy with specific targets that reflects the Latina Futures Lab priorities. As a Senior Development Officer, you will work closely with the school's faculty, leadership and colleagues to gain knowledge of research interests and areas of expertise, determine market feasibility for project priorities and provide advice and counsel on fundraising strategies and initiatives. You will utilize an entrepreneurial vision and available data to develop constituencies and identify prospects in relation to UCLA's Institute of American Cultures' (IAC) priorities and develop and maintain a portfolio of major individual gift prospects; organize and conduct meetings of volunteers and donors to identify new prospective donors for private support; and create additional vehicles and methods for identifying new prospects. In addition, as a Senior Development Officer, you will establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with appropriate individuals and offices at UCLA IAC and throughout UCLA External Affairs.
 
Target salary $130,000 based on skills, knowledge, and experience. This a contract position.

LFL Senior Communications Manager (Hybrid)
The UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center seeks a highly motivated and skilled Senior Communications Manager to support the Latina Futures 2050 Lab (LFL), an initiative funded by a one-time state allocation. The LFL Senior Communications Manager will be responsible for drafting, editing and publicizing a wide array of print and digital content, including but not limited to press releases, policy briefs, e-newsletters, blogs, web stories, and video narratives, as well as managing and updating the LFL website and social media channels.
 
Target salary $80,000 based on skills, knowledge, and experience. This a contract position.
