CSRC Research ReportEstablished in 2003, the CSRC Research Report is an occasional series that disseminates original research on Latinos in the United States in longer form than is possible in the Latino Policy and Issues Brief. It is often used to notify the press of research in progress, before final reports can be written. The CSRC Research Report is available only in electronic format. The first issue of the series addressed the number of Latino regular characters on prime-time television. It was produced by the Race and Independent Media Project, a collaborative research project to develop a comparative race analysis focused on minority participation in the history of independent media. The second issue addressed the number of Latino artists mentioned in art history textbooks and journals. The third issue was cited in the New York Times. You are welcome to view the current issue of the reports, to digitally access all previous issues published from 2002 to the present, to find guidelines for authors and artists wishing to submit a brief idea for publication as well as information for those interested in subscribing to the series. If you have any questions about the CSRC Research Report series not answered here on the website, please email us at the press.
