Important ongoing CSRC research projects include Latinos and Economic Security (LES), A Ver: Revisioning Art History, and the Strachwitz Frontera Collection of Mexican and Mexican American Recordings Digitization Project. The CSRC is also one of the five lead partner institutions of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a Getty-led arts initiative focused on Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles.

The CSRC hosts numerous archival research projects related to the social sciences as well as music, cinema, and fine art. We are constantly working to preserve the rich and diverse history of the Chicana/o and Latina/o communities for future research, classroom instruction, and the public at large.

The CSRC Press regularly publishes briefs and reports of current research supported by the CSRC.
