The UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center (CSRC) welcomes Mark R. Warren, Professor of Public Policy and Public Affairs at University of Massachusetts, Boston, and author of Willful Defiance: The Movement to Dismantle the School-to-Prison Pipeline (Oxford University Press, 2021). Panelists include Maisie Chin, Executive Director of CADRE; Geoffrey Winder, Executive Director of Genders and Sexualities Alliance Network; and Mauro Bautista, Principal of Felicitas & Gonzalo Mendez High School, LAUSD. Eder Gaona-Macedo, CSRC Senior Officer of Community-Engaged Research, will introduce the event.
