Una fuerza más de cien mil: Celebrating LBTQ Latinas in Los Angeles

Join us for "Una fuerza más de cien mil: Celebrating LBTQ Latinas in Los Angeles," a community launch party celebrating two groundbreaking research reports. The event will take place from 6:00–8:00 p.m., with a short program beginning at 6:45 p.m.

This celebration will bring together LBTQ Latinas from across Los Angeles to engage with new research by the UCLA Williams Institute and the TransLatin@ Coalition. Together, we’ll explore how these findings can spark activism, art, community, and change.

The reports were made possible by the generous support of Latina Futures 2025 Lab. Latina Futures is a pioneering initiative funded by a $15 million one-time appropriation from the California state legislature. Led by the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center in partnership with the UCLA Latino Policy and Politics Institute, Latina Futures envisions a society where Latinas have an equal opportunity to lead and where everyone thrives. Latina Futures aims to accelerate full inclusion of Latinas, including LBTQ Latinas, through rigorous research, community partnerships, and leadership development.
