Library Exhibition: "Dichos - The David Damian Figueroa Collection"

Dichos is an exhibition at the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Library that highlights the personal collection of David Damian Figueroa. For this exhibit, Mr. Figueroa selected items that represent his life’s journey and the people who have inspired him and helped shape his philanthropy, activism, and character. In developing this exhibit, it became apparent to him that because so many of the Latinas and Latinos that have inspired his own career reflect the lives and contributions of individuals within the Latina/o community, the exhibit will also serve as a tribute to the amazing men and women that form part of its history, art, and culture.

The exhibition runs September 17-October 15, 2012 during library hours.
