Book Talk: Leo Cabranes-Grant presents "Affective Archives: Retracing the Intercultural Body"

Leo Cabranes-Grant, a professor of theater and dance and Spanish and Portuguese at UC Santa Barbara, will discuss research from his new book, From Scenarios to Networks: Performing the Intercultural in Colonial Mexico (Northwestern University Press, 2016). Cabranes-Grant will expand on his recent investigations, which explore how affective and cognitive theories can contribute to a new historigraphy of the intercultural past.
