Artist's Talk & Booksigning: 'Malaquias Montoya'

In celebration of the recent publication of the latest volume in the series A Ver: Revisioning Art History Series, titled Malaquias Montoya, author Terezita Romo will discuss with Montoya his life and work. Montoya has worked for over four decades in a variety of media, from drawings and paintings to murals and prints. Terezita Romo is an independent scholar and curator who has curated many exhibits of art for the Mexican Museum in San Francisco, as well as the recent exhibit Art Along the Hyphen: the Mexican-American Generation, part of the Getty Foundation's regional initiative called "Pacific Standard Time: Art in LA 1945-1980."
