The third annual ALMS conference, “Archives, Libraries, Museums, and Special Collections: An LGBT International Conference,” took place May 12-15, 2011 at Plummer Park in West Hollywood. The conference focused on the public, private, academic, and grassroots archives that collect and preserve materials from LGBT communities. The LGBT and Mujeres Initiative, a CSRC project established to increase LGBT and women’s archival collections, was highlighted during a site visit to the CSRC Library and gallery on Friday, May 13.
