Support the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center
Your gifts are vital to ensuring that the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center can continue producing cutting-edge research that addresses the needs, impact, and contributions of the Chicano and Latino populations of the United States.
TO GIVE, CLICK HERE. Support the CSRC Library or support our greatest needs through the CSRC Director’s Fund. We rely on the support of people like you to maintain a high standard of excellence.
Thank you for supporting research that makes a difference.
CSRC Director’s Fund: Gifts to this fund allow the CSRC to respond to immediate needs, enhance existing projects with additional resources, or respond quickly to new opportunities. Your gifts have supported such things as arts outreach, public programs in the Library, and hiring additional work study students.
Annual Fund gifts to the CSRC Director’s Fund also may qualify you for membership in the Chancellor’s Circle ($1,000+) or Chancellor’s Society ($2,500+), conferring additional recognition and benefits.
If you wish to support our robust research activities in such areas as public health, education, law, economic security, media impact, and the arts, please consider a gift to the CSRC Director’s Fund. Your gifts will enable us to support research assistants, augment grant funds, or seed new research initiatives. The online donation form is available here.
Library and Archive
Friends of the CSRC Library Fund: The Fund supports ongoing activities and operations of the CSRC Library, the only Chicano/Latino subject library in the United States. The Library offers a wide range of public events, lectures, film screenings, panel discussions and seminars, which these funds support. Funds also support the CSRC’s unrivaled archival program, supporting staffing and materials associated with the processing of new collections, and this fund also provides for new acquisitions of books and periodicals.
Donors to the Friends of the CSRC Library Fund are automatically enrolled in the Friends of the CSRC Library, entitling them to receive the Library newsletter and to attend special Library events and workshops.
We are always interested in adding important materials to our library. If you are interested in making a gift of your papers, please contact our Librarian, Lizette Guerra at (310) 206-6052 or email@example.com.
A Ver: Revisioning Art History Fund: The A Ver series is a first-of-its-kind book series that addresses the output and careers of successful but critically neglected Latino artists. The fund supports the production, printing and marketing of this multiple award-winning series.
The CSRC Press offers book sponsorship or named endowment opportunities in the form of imprints or named funds. Endowed imprints provide a steady stream of funding in perpetuity to support the creation of new books of enduring value. If you are interested in sponsoring a book or in establishing an endowed fund, please contact development director Christopher Best at (310) 206-5270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
