MEDIA: “On Mentoring First Generation and Graduate Students of Color”

CSRC associate director Marissa K. López published the essay “On Mentoring First Generation and Graduate Students of Color” for the Committee on the Literatures of People of Color blog sponsored by the MLA Commons. In addition, López coauthored with Daniel Heath Justice an introduction to the piece describing the difficulty they had getting the piece accepted for publication in traditional journals.
