Walkout! 50th Anniversary Commemoration and Photograph Presentation with Dr. Carlos Manuel Haro

UCLA Professor Emeritus Dr. Carlos Manuel Haro will present a slideshow of never-before-seen photographs from the 1968 East L.A. walkouts. This special event commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Chicana/o student walkouts—the first of their kind to confront injustice and inequity in the United States public school system.
