How to Prepare an NIH Grant Proposal

This workshop for graduate students, post-doctoral students, and faculty will introduce the fundamentals of preparing a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant proposal, as well as introduce different grant mechanisms and approaches. Topics such as preparing specific aims, frameworks, analysis, innovation and originality, and team science approaches will be discussed.

Taught by Alex Ortega, Professor of Public Health and Psychiatry & Biobehavioral Sciences; Associate Director, Chicano Studies Research Center; Director, UCLA Center for Population Health & Health Disparities
