The CSRC in collaboration with the Chicano Studies Department at East Los Angeles College and Vincent Price Art Museum presents Please, Don’t Bury Me Alive!/Por Favor, No Me Entierren Vivo!, considered the first Chicano feature film. The film was recently inducted into the Library of Congress National Film Registry. Meet the filmmaker, Efraín Gutiérrez, and UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Director, Chon A. Noriega. The discussion will feature select film clips and a Q&A.
