The UCLA Department of Social Welfare and the Chicano Studies Research Center invite you to a colloquium presentation by Luis R. Alvarez-Hernandez, assistant professor in the Division of Health Affairs of the School of Social Work at University of Texas, Rio Grande Valley.

Alavarex-Hernandez’s talk is titled “Centering Community in Research with Latinx, Immigrants, and LGBTQ+ Populations.”

Lunch will be served to attendees.
