Convening: “Quebrando Barreras: Breaking Barriers in STEM Tenure Track Positions”

The Latina Futures 2050 Lab at the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center invites early career scholars to a one-day convening focused on navigating gender, racial, and class dynamics in STEM tenure track positions. Lunch and networking reception included!

What to expect:

  • Workshops on navigating the STEM job market
  • Sessions on achieving tenure and academic success
  • DIscussion on challenges and strategies in STEM fields
  • Community-building and mentorship
  • Networking opportunities

This event is FREE and open to all postdoctoral scholars and assistant professors in STEM fields.

Travel support: Full or partial travel stipends available for the first 50 early career scholars traveling from outside Southern California. Please indicate anticipated funding needed in the registration form.
