MEDIA: “Roberto Chavez’s ‘Why Paint?’ Reprinted in New Catalog on Artist’s Work”

Roberto Chavez’s first-person essay “Why Paint?”, originally published in the Spring 2011 issue of Aztlán: A Journal of Chicano Studies, is reprinted in the catalog Roberto Chavez: Paintings and Drawings (Hit & Run Press, 2012) on the occasion of a travelling exhibition of drawings and paintings by the artist commencing November 2012.
