Some years, the CSRC invites a local artist to be in residence for one quarter. |

The first Artist-in-Residence was Harry Gamboa Jr. in Winter 2003. The internationally recognized multi-media artist is the author of Urban Exile: Collected Writings of Harry Gamboa Jr. (1998). While at the CSRC, he worked on a photographic series about UCLA and gave a public lecture. For more on Gamboa's work, see his website. |
