CSRC Mission

The UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center is a proven and dynamic resource that promotes diverse participation across the campus and in the community. It provides a vital point of access to the university through its research, press, library and archive, and programming, and it works in partnership with civic leaders, community-based groups, other public institutions, and international programs. Today, with Chicanos and Latinos constituting the emerging majority in Los Angeles and California, the CSRC’s mission is more important than ever. The CSRC supports research that makes a difference.
