The 17th Cine Las Americas International Film Festival will honor the life and work of Efraín Gutiérrez, a pioneer of Mexican American cinema in Texas. A special presentation of his films will take place over three days, April 23, 24, and 26. More information and tickets are available through the festival website, www.cinelasamericas.org.
